  Poke plate was delicious! Pretty good happy hour deals too. Very friendly staff. They're the upstarts restaurant, I didn't realize there were two in that building.

  Great little seafood joint tucked away from the resort scene. Very reasonably priced with no sacrifice of quality.
  Whole, fried calamari (sliced) as appetizer was first time to have cooked this way and was nice to enjoy the squid rather than a heavy breading.
  The monchong fish was excellently prepared with more than adequate and well-paired sides.
  Happy hour mai tai's were best we've found on Hawaii (and cheap compared to resort cost!)
  The service was superb, especially for how busy it was. Very friendly and sincere.
  What this restaurant lacks in scenic view is made up for in good seafood and friendly atmosphere.

  One of my favourite places to eat when I was a resident of the Big Island. The main reason I love this restaurant is their Tuesday night Kiawe-smoked Prime Rib; it is ALWAYS CONSISTENTLY GOOD!
